Unless this has already happened, it's only a matter of time until it does. Sometimes when the text I am teaching becomes too dull and boring to continue with, I like to take a break and spend ten or fifteen minutes teaching the students humorous euphemisms that they can try out on their native English speaking friends. Their elocution and accent is funny enough while in the lesson. But it dawned on me recently what might happen if they accidentally used one in a less than suitable situation.

As we have all learned the hard way, there is a time and a place for everything. Like the time a mate of mine got absolutely shithoused at a friends wedding and then decided there and then that it was the right time to tell the groom that he had accidentally torn his future wifes asshole open while aggressively butt fucking her as she threw her guts up in the garden at a friends party one night last summer.

Well, this didn't actually happen but god damn it would have been funny if it did.

Anyhoo, what I'm trying to say is that you can be armed with all the right phrases and things to say in the world, But they won't do you a shred of good unless you put them into practice around the right people and in the right situation.

Then again, who gives a shit.
